The municipality of Presencio (213 inhabitants in 2009; 3,535 ha) is located in the west of the Province of Burgos, 30 km of Burgos.

Symbols of Presencio

The flag and arms of Presencio are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 27 December 2006 by the Municipal Council, signed on 26 January 2007 by the Mayor, and published on 19 February 2007 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 35, p. 3,504 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular flag (1:1), bicolor, the upper half white and the lower half gold or yellow, the municipal coat of arms in the middle.
Coat of arms: Per chevron, 1. Argent a lion rampant purpure armed langued and crowned or, 2. Or an eagle sable. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
