The Flags

Aspect ratio of the flags: 2: 3

The symbol in the flag from 2006 was graphically improved and officially declared the governorate's coat of arms on August 22, 2010. In 2016 it then appeared, again slightly changed, in the flag, the field of which is now shown in a darker green.
The flag in the governor's office differs from the official flag variant from 2016 in that the coat of arms is not in a yellow circle, but, like the inscription, directly on the green flag. The design of the coat of arms on the flag also deviates from the official pattern in other ways.

Even before 2006, the exact dates of the use of these flags are not known, there were two flags of the governorate of al-Daqahliyah, which were clearly forerunners of the later flags from 2006 and 2010 can be seen.
