Adopted: 9 Febuary 1995. Ratio: 7:11. Jõgeva is a rural municipality (vald) in Jõgevamaa County (maakond).

Arch refers to the highest hill in the region, Laiuse hill. The flower of potato refers to the center of researching new sorts of vegetables. Waves refer to rivers of Pedja and Kaave. Green color refers to the connection with nature and agriculture.
