Neckarsulm Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, a throughout cross patty Sable, charged with a fillet cross fleury Or, over all three annulets Gules ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
The first local seal with prints since 1374 only displayed the wheel of the Archbishopric of Mainz, to which the city belonged since 1335. When the Teutonic Order bought the city in 1484, the seals basically displayed the current pattern. The cross is symbolising the sovereignty of the order, the annulets were taken from the personal arms of Reinhard of Neipergg, who had been Magister Germaniae of the Order. The fillet cross fleury was added in 1955.

The arms were confirmed in 1955 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg.
