Rostock County

On 4 September Güstrow county and Bad Doberan county merged. The name of the new county is Rostock county, the seat of the county is Güstrow.
Description of flag:
The flags ratio is 3:5. The flag is quarterly divided into yellow (upper hoist and lower fly) and blue (lower hoist and upper fly). Both hoist quarters together shows the new coat of arms without shield.
Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess. Above in a golden (=yellow) field is a black bull's head, crowned golden (=yellow), armed silver (=white) and tongued red. Below in a blue field is a golden (=yellow) griffin's head. Two croziers, crossed saltirishly, are in the centre of the shield. They are red in the upper half and golden in the lower half.
Meaning:
According to source the bull is representing Güstrow, the griffin Rostock. The croziers are representing Bad Doberan.
