Hohenleuben Coat of Arms

In blue shield an impending golden castle, masoned black, with embattled wall, two wings and a tower topped by a flag. Port red, charged with a silver armed arm. In base a golden inscription "MCC".
Meaning:
The arms display the local castle of Reichenfels and the date 1200 in Roman numerals (= MCC). The city developed around the castle, hence the importance of the castle increased. The wall is symbolizing the city rights. Arm and sword in the gate are symbolizing the court of justice in Reichenfels and later in Hohenleuben. The arms were approved in 1937.
