862 inhabitants - The history of Poddvorov goes back to 1209, when Potowariz is mentioned as one of 63 villages in the Spytihněv region. The village died out in the middle of the 16th century - during Czech - Hungarian wars. The early 17th century brought new building activities in the locality, place called Potvorovice, later, since 1924, Starý Poddvorov.
