Burgee

[Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron burgee] image by Clay Moss, 10 Sep 2007

Mr. Neil Freeman provided me with the spec sheet for the burgee.
Clay Moss, 19 July 2007

We don't have those specifications, but from the image, they appear to be something like:
A burgee with ratio 1:2, red with a centred white cross whose arms are 1/10 of the fly in width, with a crown at the centre of burgee and cross, and a white seven-pointed star one point straight up, its spanning circle with a diameter of 1/4th the hoist centred in the upper quadrant.

I found a photograph at the squadron's own website, at http://www.rmys.com.au/?Page=56036 [no longer available] that is different from our image, where the cross is not centred, having it shifted much further towards the hoist, and the star appears to be smaller as well, maybe only as wide as an arm of the cross. As the photograph is newer than our image, I wonder: Don't they keep to their own specifications, or have they changed those specifications since Clay made our image?
