Ormsby County, Nevada, ceased to exist in 1969 when it was merged into the Carson City municipal government.

The design dates from 1964, and alludes to Eagle Valley, the original name for the valley in which the former county seat, Carson City is located.
Jim Ferrigan, 19 January 2015

A  dark blue flag with a white orle and centered inside it a white horizontally oblong ellipsis with the naturalistic likeness of a bald eagle in dark blue monochrome within it, shown almost sideways, facing the hoist, and standing with its wings spread; curved around the ellipsis, the inscription "Ormsby", above, and "County", below, in white wide set serifed capitals.
